Grammar checker, Canvas Locking, Justified Text Editing

Atlas now has a grammar checker! Built entirely on Apple Intelligence, it is available on iOS and macOS 27, and it works on device so your data is never sent elsewhere! It’s currently in beta, so please feel free to provide feedback through the app’s feedback option in Settings or through the occasional questionnaire that appears! This version also includes full canvas locking, justified text editor settings, and a bunch of minor fixes overal

Grammar Checker (Beta)

  • Added on-device grammar checker to the Inspector for text documents, powered by Apple Intelligence and supporting most of its latin languages (iOS + macOS)

Canvas

  • Added support for locking an entire canvas (iOS + macOS)
  • Added canvas lock option to the background menu and canvas options (iOS + macOS)
  • Removed editing controls from the selection bar when canvases or items are locked (iOS + macOS)

  • Made “Duplicate with Children” the default duplication option for folder context menus in the Organizer (iOS + macOS)
  • Added small detent to the Inspector on compact displays (iOS)
  • Fixed theme thumbnails not refreshing when updated remotely (iOS + macOS)
  • Fixed ePub export when project name contained a slash (iOS + macOS)
