Atlas is powered by a custom Markdown editor that is designed to give you a top-notch writing and publishing experience, on any device, whenever inspiration strikes. Write novels, build storylines, take notes, and publish your creations as full-fledged novels in ePub or export campaigns in PDF.
A World-building Library
Map your story’s world on an infinite canvas—pin characters, locations, and plot threads in space, then draw connections between them to see how everything relates. Link documents together with wiki-style references that update automatically when you rename things. Organize chapters, research, and reference material in nested folders, and use synopses, metadata, tags, and notes to track each document’s role in the bigger picture.

Found an article that sparks an idea? Clip it straight from Safari using the Web Clipper, where it becomes a searchable, taggable reference sitting right next to your writing. Pull in PDFs, images, and audio using the Save tool—so when inspiration strikes, you never have to remember which app you saved it in.
Oh, and it’s all synced across your devices through iCloud just like your documents.
